A Message From Our 2012 President

 
The Erie Chamber of Commerce has been a key representative of Erie’s business Community for the past 17 years.  The Chamber’s goals are to work toward improving the quality of life for all through the support and commitment of its members, volunteers and numerous committees.

 

The Chamber is proud to sponsor events throughout the year to help support the community.  Examples of just some of our events are:


•    Erie Town Fair
•    Coal Miner Classic Golf Tournament
•    The Harvest Festival
•    Annual Guns vs Hoses Softball Game
•    Erie’s Country Christmas
•    Erie Chamber Business Expo


The Chamber is a source of information and support for business owners; works with local civic and private groups to encourage new business; and, maintains and enhances the economic environment within Erie.

Elle Cabbage, Executive Director
Serving the Erie Chamber since 2008, Elle has been involved with the Boulder Regional Business Partnership Committee, South Weld County Chambers Coalition, Front Range Hospice Board of Directors, and Community Medical Center Board of Directors.

 


 

Sandy Hutzley, President
FRP Apparel
Sandy is the owner and founder of FRP Apparel located in Historic Old Town.  She has been an active member of the Erie Chamber for five years and is currently serving her 3rd term as President.  Sandy is a strong supporter of the Erie community and its businesses.

 


 

Pam Ware, Vice President
Front Range Hospice
Pam has served on the Chamber’s annual Coal Miners Golf Classic committee for the past three years. She believes in outreach, support, education, networking, and personal assistance for businesses within Erie and is passionate about working with other business owners.

 


 

John Murphy
John Murphy Millworks
Owner of John Murphy Millworks, John started his business in 1986 and is currently one of Erie's top employers.  He is serving his third year on the Chamber board and believes in promoting and maintaining a strong business community.   

 


 

Jonathan Barton
Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center
Jon is Clinical Director at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center and has been with Exempla Healthcare for twenty years. 

 


 

Jeannie Hulse
Jeannie Hulse Insurance & Financial Services Inc.
Owner- State Farm Insurance agency in Erie,  with over 30 years of insurance experience.  Proudly serving Erie and surrounding communities since 2002.   Member of Optimist Club of Erie, National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA), NAVY for Moms and participates in a variety of community events.   

 


 

William F. Jones Jr., CPA – Treasurer
Anton Collins Mitchell LLP
Bill is a Certified Public Accountant with twenty years of experience serving clients in and around Erie.  He is familiar with the issues and concerns facing businesses today. As a resident of Erie, Bill stays connected with the community and the businesses within it.

 


 

June Werner, Secretary
Chick-fil-A at Larkridge
Serving as a Chamber Ambassador the three years, June has been instrumental in the creation of new Chamber programs. This is June’s second year serving as secretary of the Board of Directors. June is passionate about our community and always does everything she can to see the people and the businesses prosper within in.

 


 

Steph Myers
High Plains Library District-Erie Community Library
Stephanie is one of the original staff members to open the Erie Community Library. She is very active within the Erie school system, community events, and the community of Erie. She serves on the Chamber Scholarship Committee.

 


 

Dr. Jeff Berger
Erie Family Eyecare
Dr. Berger provides comprehensive primary eye care with an emphasis on infant and children’s vision. He and his wife, Leslie, are excited to be in Erie and look forward to spending many more years here. Learn more about his practice at www.erieeyes.com.

 


 

Joey Bocci
Edward Jones

 

Joey is a Financial Advisor who opened the Edward Jones Erie office in 2008. He has been an Erie Chamber member for four years. Joey is passionate about working one-on-one with individuals and takes time both to understand his clients and to help them realize their financial goals.

 


 

Amanda Anderson-Barnes
Walgreens

 

Amanda has worked at Walgreens for twelve years. This is her first year as a Board of Directors member. While working at Walgreens, Amanda has always been giving to the community and has assisted in promoting the Erie Chamber and the events that the Chamber hosts.
